RCZ Racing Cup Italia: Race 5 and 6

Davide Bertozzi and Marco Coldani (MC Motortecnica) with a win and a second place return at the top of Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup Italia Trophy. Peugeot RCZ reconfirm between the fastest vehicles in Super Production class in Italian Tourism Endurance Championship with two absolute third places of Arduini-Facchinetti and Bertozzi-Coldani.

Exciting and long weekend at Misano Adriatico (Rn) circuit for 5° and 6° rounds of Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup Italia Trophy, included in Italian Tourism Endurance Championship. In the first race the win was for the ‘Media’ vehicle driven by Lorenzo Facchinetti, Editor in Chief of Auto magazine, along with Massimo Arduini (MC Motortecnica). For the couple an excellent absolute third position too among the vehicles taking part to Super Production class of Italian Tourism Endurance Championship. The Facchinetti-Arduini ‘Media’ vehicle, being ‘transparent’ in terms of Trophy ranking, leaves place on the highest step of the podium of RCZ Trophy to the unusual couple composed by Mauro Trentin and Mario Ferraris (Romeo Ferraris), ahead of Davide Bertozzi–Marco Coldani (MC Motortecnica) and Leonardo Geraci–Marco Panzavuota (Drive Technology Italia).

In the second race the win was for the couple Davide Bertozzi-Marco Coldani, ahead of Lorenzo Facchinetti-Massimo Arduini, while the podium is for Leonardo Geraci-Marco Panzavuota and Roberto Fiamingo-Franco Gallina (Drive Technology Italia). Delay for ex leader of the Trophy Mauro Trentin, due to an engine problem. In this race too Peugeot RCZ Cup got the better of Renault Clio, Alfa Romeo 147 and BMW M3, besides Seat Léon of the homonymous Trophy. After six of twelve races on calendar, at the top of Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup Trophy there is the couple composed of Davide Bertozzi and Marco Coldani, with four-point lead of Mauro Trentin.
