Deep inside Peugeot Sport : Engine dyno and the electronic
Engine dyno This dynamometer is used to drive the powertain. It allows the engineers to run the engine, gearbox and transmission in transient conditions, that’s to say that the load and engine speed can be modified as if the car were running on track.
This dyno is also used to fine-tune the ‘transition’ phases (fire-up, pit lane, gearshifts) and also for endurance testing of the engine and gearbox.

Wiring workshop All the electrical and electronic looms are assembled in this workshop.

Electronics console test Peugeot Sport manufactures all of the prototypes for electronic components at Vélizy. The production run is then sub-contracted to a supplier. Before and after use, every electrical and electronic component is systematically tested and serviced.
