Hiroshi YANAGISAWA: PEUGEOT 208 R2, RALLY PLUS CUSCO RACING RALLY TEAM (Win in JN5 class)

As I was not able to make better time in early part of the first day, I was concentrated harder for the afternoon loop. To be honest, I was thinking that it would be quite difficult to close the gap of 20 seconds, however, I was able to making up eventually. I think it turned things in right way for us. I was quite sure that the first stage of day 2 would be the key, so I pushed really hard to shrink the gap. I moved up to the top in following stage, but the battle with my nearest rival was still continuing. However, I extended lead in later part of stages that I was really well and was able to made the second victory in a row. On this rally, I think we were able to gather a lot of useful data for rest of gravel rally such as setting for the speed close to the limit. For next rally in Rally Toya, I will try to get another win with using most performance of nimble 208 R2.
