It was really shame to retire in previous round 2, so this time we were really determined to win the rally. I was able to set good time from SS1 and to manage to keep good shape until end of the rally. I didn’t have any trouble in my Peugeot 208 R2 at all, even nothing to worry about tyre wear. It is really encouragement result with many points in my pocket for the fight in rest of the season. I also have no problem to work with my temporary co-driver, Naoki Kase, and I think I was able to show high potential of Peugeot 208 R2 again this time. We are heading to first gravel rally for Peugeot 208 R2 in next round in Fukushima. We plan to have pre-event test bit earlier to make well preparation.
