Peugeot Danemark 31 october 2015
Victory in 4WD Division and second in 2WD division was the result for the Peugeot Total Dealer Team DK. Christian Jensen and Freddy Pedersen increase their lead in 4WD division in the 208T16, while Kim Madsen and Anja Posorski have moved from second to first place in the 2WD division up to 1600 cm3.
We got what we came for, says Christian Jensen, who finished in third place overall. We knew that it was impossible to follow a WRC car and the custom-built Subaru, but it was a good race for us, and the most important thing for us was maximum points, when we crossed the finish line. In the 4WD division we succeeded with seven stage wins out of ten in our Peugeot 208 T16. Our closest rivals in the division was Ib Kragh and Mie Petersen, who was best on two stages in their new Citroën DS3 R5. Christian Jensen continues: We can see that Ib is getting faster and faster in his new car, we will for sure have some good battles rest of the year. But it's great for us to go on summer vacation with a championship lead, I think I will have a better holiday than Ib.
For us it has been a challenging and demanding rally, says Kim Madsen, who won three of the ten special stages in the 2WD division up to 1600 cm3, the goal was of course to win, but at the end we were 3.2 seconds behind.
On the power stage both Peugeot cars were fastest in their division; this gave a benefit of 3 extra points for the championship.
